The monitor shows: weather forecast (sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, snowy), display of Indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, wind speed and direction, barometric reading with bar graph, rainfall reading with bar graph.

It has a integrated wind sensor tower for easy set up and atomic time It also shows the moon phase.

An other very good option for less than $150 (actually around $125) is the AcuRite Pro Wireless color weather station. My recommendations for small budget drones as gift under $100 are the the Hubsan 4 Channel Quadcopter, the UDI 6 Axis Gyro Quadcopter and the Dromida Omnius Quadcopter. For a price under $100 you can expect a small drone which is easy to fly but doesn’t have the power/features/maneuverability that the more expensive drones have. Of the three drones shown below only the UDI Quadcopter has a HD camera for photo and video but this also means the price is higher than the two without a camera. All three are very good affordable drones to start with, to learn how to fly a drone or just to try out drone flying for fun. Never let kids fly a drone without supervision and first check out the regulations for drone flying in your area.

What performance can you expect from a gaming desktop computer?

The speed of a gaming desktop depends on the quality of the central processing unit (CPU), single core, dual core, quad core etc, the available RAM (more internal memory is better: gaming desktops should have at least 4 GB). Besides the CPU the type of harddisk your OS runs on makes a big difference: a SSD is more expensive but much faster than a regular HDD. Today you almost don’t see single core cpu’s anymore. 2 or 4 cores is usual in regular desktops, at least 4 or more in gaming systems. When running programs or games that use a lot of graphic processing like high speed games on higher settings the quality of the graphics processing unit (GPU)is crucial. The newest Intel i3/i5/i7 cpu’s are the 9th gen cpus that perform better and have better power efficiency.

When choosing a desktop computer the CPU is an important factor to consider. The CPU is the heart of the system. There are two main processor manufacturers namely Intel and AMD. The intel processors tend to perform slightly better but cost about twice as much compared to the AMD processors. Therefore, for about the same price as a 4 core intel CPU you can get a gaming rig with a 6 or more core AMD CPU or you can buy one with a better GPU.

DDR4 RAM

Newer Gaming desktops mostly have the newest DDR4 RAM which is faster and more power efficient. This can give you a massive gain in frame rate on higher settings.

Separate or integrated GPU?

Cheaper gaming Desktops with a CPU like the I5 or the AMD A6 and A8 have integrated Graphics in the CPU. You don’t need a separate graphics-card because it is build in, but in gaming those build in gpus give only average performance on low to medium settings. For more serious gaming than casual gaming you want to have the CPU and a separate graphics-card doing its own task. This is a bit more expensive but greatly improves the frame-rate and visuals on higher settings.

The Xbox One Series X and PlayStation 5 both have gained raw processing power and because of that can handle more graphic demands, have faster drives and therefore have an even better game experience then before.

When looking at the specs the Xbox has a little more power under the hood but when playing games this will not make much difference. Microsoft also announced a cheaper version of the new Xbox, the Xbox Series S. The Series S is cheaper but also smaller and much less powerful. Sony on the other hand has announced a “Digital edition” of the Playstation 5 that is identical but can not play disks.

My recommendations for best weather stations around $50 is the Oregon Scientific BAR208. It comes with a wireless remote sensor and display will show you the basic weather data including in- and outdoor temperature, indoor humidity, time/date and a 12-24 hour weather forecast. It also has a warning sign when the temperatures go below zero to warn you for slippery roads. Oregon Scientific is a well known and reliable brand and this weather station has excellent consumer reviews. I can recommend this weather station because I have this one at home and am very happy with it. Basic and affordable for around $55 at the time of writing.

My recommendations this Christmas for small budget drones as gift under $100 are the the Hubsan 4 Channel Quadcopter, the UDI 6 Axis Gyro Quadcopter and the Dromida Omnius Quadcopter. For a price under $100 you can expect a small drone which is easy to fly but doesn’t have the power/features/maneuverability that the more expensive drones have. Of the three drones shown below only the UDI Quadcopter has a HD camera for photo and video but this also means the price is higher than the two without a camera. All three are very good affordable drones to start with, to learn how to fly a drone or just to try out drone flying for fun. Never let kids fly a drone without supervision and first check out the regulations for drone flying in your area.

Highly recommended especially when looking at the low price for this much quality!
